What facilities are available?

This event is usually held at a Forest Service-developed group campground. “Developed” means that there are accessible pit-style toilets, and the Forest Service provides toilet paper. There are flat places to camp, and usually, a central pavilion that functions as our central gathering place (which may also have picnic tables).

Water, electricity, and firewood/charcoal are not available at the sites. To prevent bug-kill, firewood must be purchased near the area and burn it on-site.

Accessible vault toilets and bear-proof trash receptacles are provided. Please use appropriate containers for food and garbage, or store them in your car at night.

There is a limited number of walk-in sites and sites with gravel tent pads. Folks with limited mobility are given priority access to these sites. There is plenty of space for dispersed camping, and you can also sleep in your car.

One of the campgrounds is not set up for campers/RVs and the other has limited spaces. If you want to camp in a camper or RV, please get in touch with us and let us know the size and type so we can confirm if it’s a possibility.

There will be a hand-washing station set up by the restrooms for all to use, and we will make an effort to have hand sanitizer in all the restrooms. All restrooms are gender-neutral during the event.
